PPE (Personal Protective Equipment)

PPE (Personal Protective Equipment)

You may have heard a lot about the abbreviation of PPE in the past six months, especially in terms of the shortage of epidemic prevention materials. It represents personal protective equipment, i.e. filtered face mask respirator (FFR), protective clothing, goggles or other equipment designed to protect the wearer's body from injury or infection. For the wearer, this is an important way to prevent the spread of COVID-19 and ensure the safety of medical professionals (doctors, nurses, etc.) currently on the front line of the pandemic.
